The Agro Industrial Development Commission of Mexicali will be present at SIAL 2009
In search for new commercial markets for the Mexicali Valley products, CODAM will be present at SIAL 2009, taking place the 1,2 and 3rd of April at Montreal, Canada. As a North American showcase for innovation, SIAL Montréal is the leading international food tradeshow in Canada.

The show welcomes exhibitors from around the world, presenting the latest products & trends, to meet with more than 12,000 North American buyers. Shop for fresh products coming from Italy, U.S.A, Canada, Taiwan, France, Cyprus, Brazil, China, Indonesia, Korea, Guatemala and of course, Mexico, to mention a few.

CODAM´s participation in Agro Baja 2009 was a complete succes!
The Agro Industrial Development Commission of Mexicali (CODAM) participation in Agro Baja 2009 was a complete success. The ninth edition of Agro Baja took place the days 12, 13 and 14 of March, in which CODAM was present before authorities, national and international business men as well as the public in general.

Inside the national and international promotion activities CODAM realizes , local companies were supported by the Commission to show their products and/or services to national and international visitors.

The companies that participated with CODAM were: Agencia Aduanal Atondo Hurtado, specialized in imports and exports of perishable goods as well as agricultural machinery; Datilera Río Colorado, dedicated to the production of Medjool dates ; and Ingeniería y Desarrollo Urbano, a construction company.

Finally, during Agro Baja 2009, the Agro Industrial Development Commission of Mexicali assisted a Canadian company by booking meeting with local producers. ...

Production of Canned Beans and fruit juices, employing nearly 100 people.
Production of fresh, high quality winter vegetables by experienced local producers for the U.S markets
This production plant, processes fruit juice for the Mexican, as wells as other international markets, with more than 300 employees operating.
Direct production of green onions and other vegetables, by establishing their own brand pack house in the Mexicali Valley.
Soft drink production, primarily for the Mexican market, with 750 employees operating.
Fresh organic winter vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and many others are grown in the Mexicali Valley, mainly in green houses and shade houses.
Mexico´s brand leader in bread and other wheat products, the largest food processor in Mexicali, employing more than 900 people.
